During the draining
night of Evil’s forced slumber,
We are in fear, the
painful twists of neck without sight
Yearnings of our
soul but to no avail, we cannot see.
For Blackness is
now our mother, Fear our brother.
And there is no
hope.
Then begin the
salty tears, their hot
Morbid instruction;
In the emptiness
slops the golden drops
Of hope, hope…hope;
fading, we are broken,
oh so broken.
O my brothers with
me in slavery,
Do not quit your
fight! Do not indulge
Death’s powerless
touch!
Lies! It spews
lies! The toxic sludge,
Spit it out!
For its strangulation
is in your mind!
Open your eyes and
see the color Red,
For it pierces the
Blackness with cries of Victory!
A new star rises,
its Red light sustains
And every thirst
will be quenched!
Drink that light my
brothers! Drink it in full!
For He has shone
Love into the
darkness.
And fear trembles
when it sees Him,
Breathe free and
behold the Red light,
For his name is
Liberty, and he flows into the darkness
To set us free.
Red tears, Red
tears have fallen,
And shall bloom,
the earth’s virginity shall be new!
Laugh free! O, with
tears, pray laugh till you weep,
For the Red light
binds all wounds,
And remembers not,
for Love is the Red light’s dripping name.
Healing happens
beneath green and golden trees,
Their soft kiss
makes my skin quiver;
Rest my brothers,
for Jesus is alive,
And He has
vanquished the blackness,
In one mighty
stroke,
With the Red light
called Love, which pours
From his hands and
feet and his side.
